Checking out Czech

So here I am in Prague, where I planned to go for a holiday, mainly as it's somewhere different to where I've been before, supposedly cheap, they like beer and there were lots of hostels to meet people. It's fair to say it lived up to its expectations from the very start. Start of my Adventure around Europe

I was working at a water company and booked to go to the Czech Republic, the job ended for me and I then planned to stay out in Europe for longer. So I packed my back for a longer stay around Europe, perhaps 3-4 weeks, perhaps more. I was at home with my friend who was playing a video game while I was packing my back, deciding what I would need, then the next day organising my insurance. Batam City, Indonesia

As I want to cover as much of Asia as possible I decided to take the short ferry trip from Singapore to visit Batam City in Indonesia. It was obviously going to be a much less developed place compared to Singapore but I don't think anything could have prepared me for the culture shock.I left the ferry terminal and there wasn't much there, just the car park, no buses and of course no underground, but there was a taxi driver who drove me into the city.
